Standards
HUMN NEWS covers AI, the companies building it and what it does to people. Every story has the same shape: what they said, what happened, the receipts.
The short version
- Every quote is real, verbatim, dated and linked to where it was said.
- If a fact can't be linked, it doesn't go in.
- The voice is in the framing, never in the facts.
- Mistakes get corrected in public, on the story.
Sourcing
- Primary first. Their posts, their filings, their documents, their own words on the record. Every story lists its receipts, numbered, at the end.
- Credit on top. When someone else broke a story, the piece opens with their name and their link comes first in the receipts. The story is dated to when it broke.
- Screenshots need a post. A screenshot without a link to the original post doesn't count as a source.
- Quotes stay whole. We don't trim a quote to change what it means. The speaker, their role and the date sit under every quote.
Claims and questions
An open question is fine. An accusation dressed as a fact is not. When we say a company did something, the receipt shows it. When we don't know, we ask, and the question stays a question.
People are named the way the reporting names them. Jokes land on the company, the claim or the system, never on ordinary people.
The verdict
Some stories end with a verdict: "Humanity won this one" or "Humanity lost this one." It is the desk's call, not a measurement, and it is always labelled that way. The facts above it are theirs. The verdict is ours.
Sponsored
Paid pieces are labelled "Sponsored transmission" everywhere they appear, in the feed and on the story. Sponsors don't touch the news.
Corrections
If we got something wrong, tell us with a DM to @HumnNews on X, with a link that shows it. We fix the story, and the fix says what changed and when. We don't delete stories to hide a mistake.
How it's made
The anchor on our broadcasts is a synthetic presenter, and the studio pictures are made with image tools. The reporting is not generated: every fact on a story comes from a receipt a person checked and linked.
Citing us
Quote and link freely. Please cite the story's own page (humn.news/p/...) and, where you can, the original receipt it links. That's the point of keeping them.
